This is the perfect tour to observe migrating birds along this mangrove-lined canal, where you'll see all types of water fowl such as the Roseate Spoonbill, Wood Stork, Yellow-Crowned Night Herons, Caspian Terns, Brown Pelicans, Black-Bellied Whistling Ducks, Black Night Herons, Boat-Billed Herons, and White-Faced Ibis searching for food along mud flats and sandbars. TOUR IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE. After a short drive through rural country, we'll launch the kayaks and begin our tour. As we glide down the waterway, we'll be watching for Ospreys, Red-Tailed Hawks, Mangrove Swallow, Belted Kingfishers, and Mangrove Warblers, making their homes among the mangroves. We may also see local fishermen throwing a traditional net to bring in shrimp and small fish for the market or a family dinner. The pace of the tour is relaxed
and you will find that the kayak allows unequaled
access to the shore and wading birds. Professional
